Resumen Hace ya varios años que venimos haciendo trabajo de investigación y docencia en el cruce entre antropología y emoción, acompañando -en lo que concierne a esta última labor- la elaboración de tesis, coordinando mesas en eventos científicos y dictando seminarios específicos. Este trabajo busca reflexionar sobre los avatares de esta experiencia, prestando especial atención a las particularidades y dificultades que adquieren los primeros pasos en el estudio socio-antropológico de la emoción. ¿Cuáles son los obstáculos recurrentes con que nos topamos cuando comenzamos a trabajar en estos temas? ¿Qué nos dicen, estos obstáculos, de la construcción del campo mismo? Abstract For several years now we have been doing research and teaching work at the crossroads between anthropology and emotion, accompanying - as far as this latter work is concerned - the preparation of theses, coordinating tables at scientific events and giving specific seminars. This work seeks to reflect on the vicissitudes of this experience, paying special attention to the particularities and difficulties acquired by the first steps in the socio-anthropological study of emotion. What are the recurring obstacles we encounter when we start working on these issues? What do these obstacles tell us about the construction of the field itself? This work therefore attempts to open the epistemological debate about the how of research in the area as a way of continuing to strengthen the commitment to emotionality as an analytical category.

Résumé Cela fait plusieurs années que nous menons des travaux de recherche et d'enseignement au carrefour de l'anthropologie et de l'émotion, accompagnant - en ce qui concerne ce dernier travail - l'élaboration de thèses, la coordination de tables rondes lors d'événements scientifiques et l'organisation de séminaires spécifiques.
