Resumen: La conformación de la sexología como un sub campo de saber en la Argentina se debió a la condensación de tradiciones previas entre los galenos. La circulación de saberes trasnacionales, manuales de clasificación y estudios extranjeros, resultó decisiva en sus prácticas de intervención y sus reflexiones. Este artículo propone un análisis de la obra de Rinaldi Pelleginni, "Sexuología", entendiendo que la misma fue sustancial para la comunidad científica.
