Coccidiosis has a major impact on poultry industry as it affects broiler and layer birds of all age groups.Caecal coccidiosis, caused by is a very devastating enteric disease in broiler,which involves huge economic loss experimental infective dose of in broiler th th chicken and subsequent alterations in different plasma biochemical constituents were evaluated at interval of 5 , 7 and th 9 day of post inoculation (PI) with the selected dose of 20000-25000 sporulated oocyst per bird.The dose was selected based on titration.A significant increase in plasma glucose, total cholesterol level and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) activity were observed where as a significant decrease in the level of total plasma protein, albumin, globulin, triglyceride and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity were evident during infection

La coccidiose caecale, causée par est une maladie entérique très dévastatrice chez les poulets de chair,qui implique une énorme perte économique. La dose infectieuse expérimentale chez les poulets de chair et les altérations ultérieures de différents constituants biochimiques plasmatiques ont été évaluées à des intervalles de 5 , 7 et 9 jours après l'inoculation (IP) avec la dose sélectionnée de 20 000 à 25 000 oocystes sporulés par oiseau. La dose a été sélectionnée en fonction de la titration. Une augmentation significative de la glycémie plasmatique, du taux de cholestérol total et de l'activité de l'aspartate aminotransférase (AST) a été observée, une diminution significative du taux de protéines plasmatiques totales, de l'albumine, de la globuline, du triglycéride et de l'activité de l'alanine aminotransférase (ALT) étant évidente pendant l'infection.

La coccidiosis cecal, causada por es una enfermedad entérica muy devastadora en los pollos de engorde,que implica una enorme pérdida económica de dosis infecciosa experimental en los pollos de engorde y se evaluaron las alteraciones posteriores en diferentes constituyentes bioquímicos del plasma a intervalos de 5 , 7 y 9 días después de la inoculación (PI) con la dosis seleccionada de 20000-25000 ooquistes esporulados por ave. La dosis se seleccionó en función de la titulación. Se observó un aumento significativo en la glucosa plasmática, el nivel de colesterol total y la actividad de aspartato aminotransferasa (AST) donde se observó una disminución significativa en el nivel de proteína plasmática total, albúmina, globulina, triglicéridos y actividad de alanina aminotransferasa (ALT) durante la infección
