Psychometric Properties of Self-Regulated Learning Strategies in Learning English Grammar and English Grammar Self-Efficacy Scales

The study reports on the psychometric properties of instruments that can measure EFL students' self-regulated learning strategy use and English grammar self-efficacy and examines the relationship between these two constructs. 350 male and 432 female students, aged between 16 and 17, from two high schools in Vietnam participated in the survey. L'étude rend compte des propriétés psychométriques des instruments qui peuvent mesurer l'utilisation de la stratégie d'apprentissage autorégulée des élèves EFL et l'auto-efficacité de la grammaire anglaise et examine la relation entre ces deux constructions. 350 élèves de sexe masculin et 432 élèves de sexe féminin, âgés de 16 à 17 ans, de deux lycées au Vietnam ont participé à l'enquête. Les participants ont répondu au Questionnaire of Self-Regulated Learning Strategies in Learning English Grammar ( QSRLSLEG) et au Questionnaire of English Grammar Self-Efficacy (QEGSE). L'approche disjointe en deux étapes pour l'équation structurelle partielle des moindres carrés a été utilisée pour analyser les données. El estudio informa sobre las propiedades psicométricas de los instrumentos que pueden medir el uso de la estrategia de aprendizaje autorregulado de los estudiantes de EFL y la autoeficacia de la gramática inglesa y examina la relación entre estos dos constructos. Participaron en la encuesta 350 estudiantes varones y 432 mujeres, de entre 16 y 17 años, de dos escuelas secundarias de Vietnam. Los participantes respondieron al Cuestionario de Estrategias de Aprendizaje Autorregulado en el Aprendizaje de la Gramática Inglesa ( QSRLSLEG) , y al Cuestionario de Autoeficacia de la Gramática Inglesa (QEGSE). Se utilizó el enfoque de dos etapas disjuntas para la ecuación estructural de mínimos cuadrados parciales para analizar los datos. Los resultados mostraron que el QSRLSLEG de 24 elementos y el QEGSE de 8 elementos tienen validez y confiabilidad de cara, contenido y constructo. Se encontró una relación moderada entre las estrategias de SRL en el aprendizaje de la gramática inglesa y la gramática inglesa SE.
