RESUMO Apresenta o desenvolvimento da primeira fase da pesquisa iniciada em 2016, que trata da aplicação de metodologia de indexação às Obras Completas de Rui de Barbosa. Aborda assim o estabelecimento do vocabulário sistematizado para representação dos acervos bibliográficos, da Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa, empreendimento realizado a partir da constatação da carência de fundamentos teóricos que promovessem a melhoria do processo de elaboração das informações e da recuperação da informação, o que resultou na adoção de princípios metodológicos da teoria do conceito, de Ingetraut Dahlberg (1978). Tem como objetivo aprofundar a fundamentação teórica do processo de representação das informações oriundas dos acervos bibliográficos da instituição. A metodologia propõe identificar conceitos, a partir do estudo da metodologia de indexação que se fundamenta na teoria do conceito. Describe the systematized vocabulary establishment for the representation of Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation bibliographical collections, cause theoretical foundations don´t improve the information elaboration process and retrieval therefore this study propose the Concept theory methodological by Ingetraut Dahlberg (1978) to solve this problem. Its purpose is deepen the foundation theoretical of the information representation process coming from the bibliographical collections. The methodology proposes to identify concepts, based on the study of the indexation methodology that is based on Concept Theory. ABSTRACT Presents the development of the first phase of the research started in 2016, which deals with the application of indexing methodology to the Complete Works of Rui de Barbosa. RÉSUMÉ Présente le développement de la première phase de la recherche commencée en 2016, qui traite de l'application de la méthodologie d'indexation aux œuvres complètes de Rui de Barbosa. Ainsi, il aborde la mise en place du vocabulaire systématisé pour la représentation des collections bibliographiques, de la Fondation Casa de Rui Barbosa, une entreprise réalisée à partir de la constatation du manque de fondements théoriques qui a favorisé l'amélioration du processus d'élaboration de l'information et la récupération de l'information, ce qui a abouti à l'adoption de principes méthodologiques de la théorie du concept, par Ingetraut Dahlberg (1978). Il vise à approfondir les fondements théoriques du processus de représentation des informations issues des collections bibliographiques de l'institution. La méthodologie propose d'identifier des concepts, en se basant sur l'étude de la méthodologie d'indexation qui est basée sur la théorie du concept. Il conclut que l'indexation est une pratique qui doit être systématiquement discutée, révisée et améliorée. Mots-clés : Indexation thématique ; Collection bibliographique ; Théorie des concepts. RESUMEN Presenta el desarrollo de la primera fase de la investigación iniciada en 2016, que se ocupa de la aplicación de la metodología de indexación a las Obras Completas de Rui de Barbosa. Así, aborda el establecimiento del vocabulario sistematizado para la representación de las colecciones bibliográficas, de la Fundación Casa de Rui Barbosa, emprendimiento realizado a partir del hallazgo de la falta de fundamentos teóricos que promovió la mejora del proceso de elaboración de la información y la recuperación de la información, lo que derivó en la adopción de principios metodológicos de la teoría del concepto, por Ingetraut Dahlberg (1978). Pretende profundizar en la fundamentación teórica del proceso de representación de la información proveniente de las colecciones bibliográficas de la institución. La metodología propone identificar conceptos, a partir del estudio de la metodología de indexación que se basa en la teoría del concepto. Concluye que la indexación es una práctica que debe discutirse, revisarse y mejorarse sistemáticamente.
