International Classification of Functioning in professional rehabilitation: instruments for assessing work disability

OBJECTIVE: To review the main instruments of functional assessment and health status cited in the literature to evaluate Brazilian workers and verify the compatibility of their items with the core set for professional rehabilitation. METHODS: A review of the literature was conducted in the main databases in search of articles that used assessment instruments in populations of workers between 2007 and 2017. Subsequently, the contents of the identified instruments were retrieved, and two evaluators analyzed their items to verify the compatibility with the categories of the core set of the International Classification of Functioning for professional rehabilitation. OBJECTIF : Passer en revue les principaux instruments d'évaluation fonctionnelle et de l'état de santé cités dans la littérature pour évaluer les travailleurs brésiliens et vérifier la compatibilité de leurs articles avec l'ensemble de base pour la réadaptation professionnelle. MÉTHODES : Une revue de la littérature a été menée dans les principales bases de données à la recherche d'articles utilisant des instruments d'évaluation dans des populations de travailleurs entre 2007 et 2017. Par la suite, le contenu des instruments identifiés a été récupéré, et deux évaluateurs ont analysé leurs éléments pour vérifier la compatibilité avec les catégories de l'ensemble de base de la Classification internationale du fonctionnement pour la réadaptation professionnelle. Le coefficient kappa de Cohen a été utilisé pour évaluer l'accord entre les évaluateurs. RÉSULTATS : Cinq instruments spécifiques et huit instruments génériques ont été sélectionnés pour évaluer le fonctionnement des travailleurs. OBJETIVO: Revisar los principales instrumentos de evaluación funcional y estado de salud citados en la literatura para evaluar a los trabajadores brasileños y verificar la compatibilidad de sus ítems con el conjunto básico para la rehabilitación profesional. MÉTODOS: Se realizó una revisión de la literatura en las principales bases de datos en busca de artículos que utilizaron instrumentos de evaluación en poblaciones de trabajadores entre 2007 y 2017. Posteriormente, se recuperó el contenido de los instrumentos identificados, y dos evaluadores analizaron sus ítems para verificar la compatibilidad con las categorías del conjunto básico de la Clasificación Internacional de Funcionamiento para la rehabilitación profesional. Se utilizó el coeficiente kappa de Cohen para evaluar el acuerdo entre los evaluadores. RESULTADOS: Se seleccionaron cinco instrumentos específicos y ocho genéricos para evaluar el funcionamiento de los trabajadores.
