Se plantea una lectura hermenéutica crítica de las nociones de salud y enfermedad implicadas en la prohibición de las drogas psicoactivas, de entre las cuales la marihuana constituye un caso paradigmático. Se observa que, según su raigambre religiosa, la noción de salud subyacente a la prohibición reside en el ideal de completa sobriedad inherente a la lógica abstencionista. Se destaca que el concordante presupuesto naturalista del diagnóstico de enfermedad, en tanto confiere todo el poder a la substancia, conlleva consecuencias de-subjetivantes. Ejemplificando el caso con la legalización del consumo medicinal de cannabis, se concluye considerando la siguiente paradoja: mientras en estos casos se acepta que la marihuana es un medicamento, por cuanto se ha producido su aprobación social generalizada, por el contrario, en tanto su consumo recreativo no conlleva una utilidad manifiesta, terapéutica en particular, sigue siendo considerado una práctica viciosa, una conducta enfermiza que sigue ameritando su condena social.

A critical hermeneutic reading of the notions of health and disease involved in the prohibition of psychoactive drugs is proposed, of which marijuana constitutes a paradigmatic case. It is observed that, according to its religious roots, the notion of health underlying the prohibition resides in the ideal of complete sobriety inherent in the abstentionist logic. It should be noted that the concordant naturalistic assumption of the diagnosis of disease, insofar as it confers all the power to the substance, entails de-subjectivating consequences. Exemplifying the case with the legalization of the medical consumption of cannabis, we conclude by considering the following paradox: while in these cases it is accepted that marijuana is a medicine, since its generalized social approval has occurred, on the contrary, while its recreational consumption does not carry a manifest, therapeutic utility in particular, it is still considered a vicious practice, an unhealthy behavior that continues to merit its social condemnation.Translated Description (French)

Il est à noter que le présupposé naturaliste concordant du diagnostic de la maladie, dans la mesure où il confère tout le pouvoir à la substance, entraîne des conséquences de-subjectivants.
