The role of social self-efficacy and psychological capital in IT graduates' employability and subjective career success

This study aims to assess the impact of Social Self-Efficacy and Psychological Capital on Employability and Subjective Career Success of IT graduates in Vietnam. An empirical research using a questionnaire was carried out from April to August 2022 in big cities in the North and Center of Vietnam. La muestra incluye 336 graduados universitarios (dentro de los 6 años posteriores a la graduación) que estaban realizando trabajos relacionados con TI. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que tanto la autoeficacia social como el capital psicológico tienen un impacto positivo en la empleabilidad y el éxito profesional subjetivo (que incluye la satisfacción laboral y la satisfacción profesional). Los hallazgos del estudio son significativos tanto para las instituciones educativas que ofrecen capacitación en TI como para las actividades de gestión de recursos humanos para el personal de TI en organizaciones y empresas en Vietnam.
