Afirma John Locke en el Capítulo VIII de su Segundo tratado sobre el gobierno civil que «todo hombre que tenga posesiones o disfrute de alguna parte de los dominios de cualquier gobierno, está por ello dando su tácito consentimiento de sumisión». Según esta tesis, quien es beneficiado mediante cierta forma de trato, brindaría por eso mismo una suerte de consentimiento tácito al mismo, a menos que exprese lo contrario. El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en analizar críticamente el vínculo que establece Locke entre el consentimiento y la idea de beneficio. Para ello, apelaré a una semántica centrada en las razones personales o agencialmente relativas para actuar, que son las que explican en última instancia, según argüiré, el poder justificatorio del consentimiento en los distintos ámbitos normativos de nuestra vida.

يذكر جون لوك في الفصل الثامن من أطروحته الثانية حول الحكومة المدنية أن "كل رجل لديه ممتلكات، أو يتمتع بأي جزء من سيادة أي حكومة، يعطي موافقته الضمنية على الخضوع". ووفقًا لهذه الأطروحة، فإن أي شخص يستفيد من شكل معين من العلاج، سيقدم نوعًا من الموافقة الضمنية عليه، ما لم يعبر عن خلاف ذلك. الهدف من هذا العمل هو التحليل النقدي للصلة التي يقيمها لوك بين الموافقة وفكرة المنفعة. للقيام بذلك، سأناشد علم الدلالة الذي يركز على الأسباب الشخصية أو النسبية للتصرف، وهي الأسباب التي تشرح في النهاية، كما سأجادل، القوة المبررة للموافقة في المجالات المعيارية المختلفة في حياتنا.Translated Description (English)
John Locke states in Chapter VIII of his Second Treatise on Civil Government that "every man who has possessions, or enjoys any part of the dominions of any government, is thereby giving his tacit consent to submission." According to this thesis, whoever is benefited by a certain form of treatment, would therefore provide a kind of tacit consent to it, unless he expresses otherwise. The objective of this work is to critically analyze the link that Locke establishes between consent and the idea of benefit. To do this, I will appeal to a semantics focused on the personal or agencyally relative reasons for acting, which are the ones that ultimately explain, as I will argue, the justifying power of consent in the different normative areas of our lives.Translated Description (French)
John Locke affirme au chapitre VIII de son deuxième traité sur le gouvernement civil que « tout homme qui possède ou jouit d'une partie des domaines de tout gouvernement, donne donc son consentement tacite à la soumission ». Selon cette thèse, celui qui bénéficie d'une certaine forme de traitement lui donnerait par là même une sorte de consentement tacite, à moins qu'il n'exprime le contraire. L'objectif de ce travail est d'analyser de manière critique le lien établi par Locke entre le consentement et l'idée de profit. Pour ce faire, j'appellerai à une sémantique centrée sur les raisons personnelles ou agentiellement relatives d'agir, qui sont celles qui expliquent en fin de compte, selon moi, le pouvoir de justification du consentement dans les différents domaines normatifs de notre vie.Files
