The objective of this research was to build an instrument to evaluate Parental Alienation (PA) in Chilean children and adolescents, between 9 and 15 years old. A tool was developed to collect evidence of obstruction to the child/parent bond, which constitutes serious intra-family child abuse, observed in conflictive divorce proceedings. The items were constructed from the theoretical conceptualization of AP and were submitted for consideration by expert judges who enriched them, after which they were subjected to statistical analysis and successive adjustments.
